The best Ambrosia Salad recipe is made with Yogurt, fresh pineapple, mandarin oranges, colorful mini marshmallows, coconut and home made whipped cream. This easy side dish has a delicious tropical sweetness and is always a crowd favorite!
What’s not to love about this delicious fluffy desserts that can pass as a “salad” or a side dish, it is great at a BBQ or Holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
I love Ambrosia Salad during the spring and time, Easter or Mother’s Day celebrations because the soft pastel colors are so fun and perfect for the festive holidays. Most recipes for ambrosia salad use cool whip, but if you’ve followed my blog for very long, you know I would never use cool whip when I could substitute fresh whipped cream, the difference is night and day and it tastes so much better!
