Brown Sugar and Orange Glazed Easter Ham

If you don't know by now, simple ingredients can make the most delicious dishes. My brown sugar, orange glazed easter ham is the perfect example of just that. It only has 4 Simple ingredients and you will get mad reviews over how it tastes. While the ham roasts uncovered, create the glaze using brown sugar, orange juice, ground mustard and some grated orange peel. During the last 45 minutes of baking, brush it all over the ham to bring out the burst of flavors to life. It is tangly, sweet and the perfect flavor for your easter meal.

Ingredients:

  • 6-10 Pound Spiral bone in ham

  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoons of orange juice (no pulp)

  • 2-3 Oranges

  • 1 Tablespoon ground mustard

Directions:

Pre-Heat your oven to 325°F. Place your Ham on an turkey or ham rack or in a shallow roasting pan. Insert your oven safe meat thermometer into the thickest part of ham, then bake uncovered 1 and a half hours or until the thermometer reads 135°F to 140°F.

While it is baking, mix together everything but the oranges into a small bowl for the glaze. Cut the orange into thin slices and remove any seeds, if there are any. Pull the ham from the oven 45 minutes before it is done and place slices of orange between each spiral, then brush the glaze mixture over ham and pop back in the oven to finish cooking.

Remove the ham from oven when done, then cover it with foil and let it stand for at least 15 minutes before carving. Serve with the orange slices and all your traditional sides and rolls for the perfect Easter dinner or brunch.

I Hope you love it, leave your comments and photos of what you created below in the comments.
